When you purchase a licence to use TrackRecord we will request your email address. Your email address will be used
to authenticate your purchase.
We may offer a newsletter subscription on the TrackRecord website. If you supply us with your email address you
agree that you are happy to receive emails sent from either TrackRecord or Excited Atom (the company
that owns TrackRecord). Any newsletter email we send will be accompanied by an unsubscribe link (found at the
footer of the email). You are free to unsubscribe from future correspondence at any time.
We use Campaign Monitor to handle the storage and sending of our email newsletters and associated email addresses.
We will NEVER sell, rent, exchange or otherwise pass on any of your details to any third party for any purposes
other than required by law.
TrackRecord stores a minimal amount of user data on your computer using standardised OS X APIs. This information
is used to comply with the Basecamp APIs authentication credentials and will never be sent elsewhere. Additional
system information may be collected by TrackRecord during software updates provided the user has explicitly agreed
to the collection of this information.
While TrackRecord strives to ensure personal data is kept secure, it must also be accepted that no method of
internet transmission or digital storage is 100% secure. As such, we can never guarantee that the information
you provide the TrackRecord application is absolutely secure.
You retain all rights of ownership to the data you have created, manipulated or submitted through TrackRecord.
We will NEVER share or use the data you have posted through TrackRecord for any reason other than communicating
with the Basecamp API.
You are required to ensure the security of your Basecamp API token.
